OBSERVATION INSTRUMENT

Are you confuse to calculate instrument reliability when it deals with writing, speaking, and observation?  Let me help you with this article. Validitas instrumen daftar cek/pengamatan/tes kinerja/writing dilakukan pada ranah validitas konstruk dan konten. Kemudian reliabilitasnya dihitung menggunakan Rumus Cohen Kappa. Rumus Cohen Kappa digunakan untuk menguji reliabilitas lembar pengamatan (Arikunto, 2006: 208). So...here is the formula...cekidot guys!

Setelah perhitungan dengan rumus di atas selesai, data kemudian dimasukan ke dalam rumus berikut ini:









Po diperoleh dari rumus   
 

dimana S adalah Sepakat, jumlah kode yang sama untuk objek yang sama, N1 dan N2 adalah Jumlah kode yang dibuat pengamat 1 dan 2. Angka Koefisien Kesepakatan (KK) semakin mendekati 1 akan semakin baik dan tidak boleh di bawah 0,50 artinya unsur-unsur pengamatan dalam suatu instrumen telah memiliki banyak kesamaan ketika digunakan di lapangan oleh dua orang pengamat. ”Bagaimanapun upaya pengamat untuk bersikap netral, subyektivitas diri tentu masih mengiringi kegiatan sehingga hasilnya menjadi  tidak 100% obyektif” (Arikunto, 2006:199).
